You don’t know how much it hurts her inside do you?
Seeing you flirt with other girls,
whilst she sits back and watches in the crowd.
Yeah, she may have a smile on her face but deep down inside, she’s dying, dying to be heard, to be noticed and to
have at least a bit of love from you.
During the day, the smile’s on.
During the night, well I don’t think you’d like to know.
She cries herself to sleep each night thinking about you, and what could’ve, should’ve or would’ve been.
She lays there, staying at the ceiling,
with nothing in her mind but the “what if’s ”
gushing through. She knows that it’ll never happen,
but it’s worth hoping for right?
Well that’s what she thinks.
Another day, another fake smile.
She’s nearly mastered the art of pretending by now.
